Lo que dice el Arxiduc:

“Trade to and from Parga and the districts behind it are done with beasts of burden. These include horses, mules and burros as well. They all have a long saddle called a samaria with the merchandise on top in sacks. Here are olives, going to the oil mills in the city; there, horses loaded down with cheese; and, over there, a row of different working animals strolling freely through the fields. They’re generally loaded during the afternoon hours and then they leave. Sometimes you don’t see them again until the following day.”

Datos proyecto Nixe III:

Parga is found within the Preveza region and, consequently, it has a lot of trade with that city. Many of the products, agricultural and otherwise, come from that city.
