“The rocks stand out like enormous shark teeth, though popular fantasy has turned them into sails. Isolated and rigid as a rock, Ayos NikolaosIsland emerges in the territory of the sea. Only on calm days can boats near her. Few places on the neighbouringcoast have a wilder air to them despite the simplicity of her silhouettes.”
The limits of Kavos“The fine layers of eternal waves have eaten away and destroyed these rocks, leaving only a few remnants which seemingly attempt to redouble their resistance against the sea the more their neighbourswere destroyed. They can tell tales about thousands of storms, and, when you pass by them on calm days without wind, their openings seem to offer an almost overwhelming smell of sea, reminding us of past stormy days.”Prioni.

Parga’s dock is much longer and wider today, but it still looks the same as it did in the past.
If we head south, the first thing we see is the small church along the shore just next to the cliff near Floru and which the Archduke reflected in one of his engravings.
Then comes the islet with the Saint Spyridon Church which we have already photographed from different angles. We then come to Primio point, Kavos Prioni in which the Archduke illustrated the outcroppings, and the Ayos Espridión island in the distance.
We then enter Lichnus Bay and can see both its southern and northern shore.
Back in Parga we find ourselves with a view of Lithari which the Archduke also reflected in one of his engravings.
