Lo que dice el Arxiduc:

“La Ferrera, or Malaspina, is located 7/10 of a mile west-southwest of the centre of Columbrete Grande. Between this islet and Columbrete Grande, there is a 0.5-metre-wide channel at a depth of 60 or 70 metres. La Ferrera is completely grey and appears to be made of iron. Perhaps that is the origin of its name!

It is the largest of this group of islands, which stretches from the northeast to the south-southeast, with a total width of 0.15 miles. Its highest point is 44 metres above sea level. To climb to the top of the island, it is best to start from the west side, which features a hollow in the shape of a saddle and twisted strata. In the centre of this hollow, there is also a sort of crevice.”

Datos proyecto Nixe III:

Arriving from Foradada we first see the southern coast of Ferrera.

As we approach Ferrera from the west, the island’s saddle shape becomes increasingly apparent.

We weren’t able to land on Ferrera because when we reached the islands the Eleonora’s falcons were in mid nesting seasoning.
