Lo que dice el Arxiduc:
“About 120 metres to the southeast of La Ferrera, we find El Navarrete, formed by basaltic strata of yellowish tuff, similar to those found on Columbrete Grande. To the southwest of the main skerry, there are various other skerries that protect La Ferrera.
Curiously, the strata of El Navarrete rise toward the west—that is, in the opposite direction of the strata on the other islands.”

The Archduke wondered about the strata on Navarrete which pointed west. Xavi del Señor indicated that said orientation could be due to the rock having been formed from an underwater lava flow.
Upon reaching the southern coast of Ferrera and looking towards Foradada, we can see Navarrete in the short distance. Further away, Foradada stands out with Carallot to the right.
