In some cities, traditional architecture has been carefully protected, as occurs in Galaxidi and Lepanto. The difference is noticeable as soon as you reach these two cities, and the esthetic impact of this protection is fantastic.
By contrast, other places in the area, such as new Corinth and Loutraki, don’t have the same level of protection. On the one hand, then, we can see places we could refer to as decadent, while others have been turned into tourist resorts with large establishments on the beach itself, as occurs with Loutraki.
